One Night Stand (Jive, Spa, Daylow)

Peace to my people that was down with me from day one: Jive, Spa, and Daylow. I came up with the idea for the hook and showed my band at practice one day up in Fritz's kitchen. Dans laid down a rythm and BenJamin followed with something on the bass, then Jake Nowak added a guitar and I cam up with a organ line on my triton, We were good to go.

I had just recorded Do Your Thing a week earlier and Benny Steele was telling me that he records live bands too so I brought the band out there to Brooklyn, which is where we tracked all the instruments. Then I met Jive and Spa at the Stiz where we recorded the vocals and sent them over to benny to finish the track. Every line in my verse ends with the word "Right." Spa tells shorty she's getting fat, relax with the cake. Jive says she is a sticker on his rhyme book a scratch and sniff.
