The name Wully Bully originated when I accidentally stepped on a carpenter bee in New Jersey in 2013. The bee made a loud noise and when I moved my foot I could not believe how big the bee was. When I lifted my foot up the Bee was alive and well but I did not recognize what kind of bug it was. Someone in the room said "It's a Wully Bully Bumble Bee," and everyone started laughing. Since then we have been calling anything that is large or fuzzy a "Wully."

In 2016 I started working on www.wullybully.org which is an educational music and film website for children and parents to enjoy together. The main reason I am creating this project is to teach my own children about being creative and experiencing the joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment of seeing an idea through to completion. Much of this project started with ideas that my children came up with. Then I slowly work on it with them and teach them the steps of making a song or film. My hope is that they one day apply the 4 concepts of innovation, persistence, completion, and fulfillment to whatever they decide to do in their life.
