This is one of the first songs that I ever wrote. In 206 the Morris County NJ Daily record newspaper did a two page front cover feature article about my life, highlighting the lyrics from this song. I actually wrote and recorded the first three verses when I was 19, originally on the Dr. Dre Explosive Instrumental but never released that. Then a year later I added the fourth verse when I copped the beat from Volatile. I figured I would redo that old school hook that I loved since I was a little kid cause that would be relevant to my life. This is still one of my top three favorite songs I have ever written.

"My Life" Takes you from birth to 2006. The last verse is the hardest and the verse that evokes the biggest response from me when I listen back to it. Around 2004 I had maad beef with the dudes I grew up with. They would talk about me behind my back, and smash the windows on my car every time i parked. One time a dude even shot my car in the parking lot of County College of Morris. The phrase "real thugs will kill you, fake thugs beat up your car and write down the address to send the bill to," is the phrase that sums up about a two year period of my life.

From 2004-2006, I made equivilent to 4 times the value of my car just from the checks that kids would send to me after they smashed windows on my car and after I figured out who they were and requested the check.

What sucked is that at one point I was driving around with leafbags duct taped to all four of my side windows and my rear window. I got pulled over alot during that time.
